My name is Tabitha, and I'd love to tell you a little bit about me.  I am a wife, a mama, a teacher, and a photographer.  Everything family, learning, and creative or art-related is my jam, and something you'll learn pretty quickly is that I love to smile and laugh and make others do the same.

My photography journey started many years ago with some pictures I shared with friends for fun and without intent turned into referrals and requests for sessions.  Get paid to do something I love (and let's be honest, that I was still going to do anyway)?!  Ok!  (Isn't that everyone's dream?)  My hobby transformed into my favorite side business over the last few years, and I am excited to see where I go with it in the next few more!

I am primarily a natural light photographer but often utilize off-camera flash for situations where I am looking for dynamic lighting. I am drawn to details, textures, nature, authenticity, rich colors, and raw emotion.  You'll find I like to take a mix of candid and posed shots with lifestyle focusing more on telling the unscripted story of your family and other sessions under more direction.  You'll find me using prompts and chatting and doing what I can to get to know the real you and letting it shine through the camera.  My main focus is portrait photography: seniors, families, and kids.  I have some limited openings for weddings again for the 2023 season.  Beyond that, I am open to considering different requests and enjoy giving back when I can!
